Nathan Schroer

Associate Pastor of High School and College Students

Nathaniel "Nathan" Hoyt Schroer, 38 of Evansville passed away at 2:10pm, Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at St. Mary's Medical Center.

Above all else, Nathan's greatest desire would be for you to know that he is rejoicing in the Glory of the Lord. He would love for you to join him. To do so you need to know that you must put your trust in Christ for He is the way, the truth and the life.

Nathan grew up in an around the Evansville area. He was introduced to the Gospel at a young age but admittedly chose the path of rebellion. At the age of 22 Nathan came to understand that Jesus lived a real life, died a real death and beat the grave to prove that He was all that He claimed to be.

Nathan met and married his wife Lindsay in 2000. They have three children, Elyon, Micaiah and Haddon.

Nathan also works as a Detective with the Evansville Police Department. His police training and experience gives him a unique perspective and allows him to both relate to and lead the high school and college students at Northwoods Church. Nathan believes that a student who abides in Christ, is equipped and sent out into the world will bear much spiritual fruit for the Glory of God.
