• Locally, we train and encourage our members to have Gospel conversations with their “Neighbors” which can be your literal neighbors, the people in your house, or even your co-workers.
• We offer quarterly Gospel Seminars to help train members on how to share the Gospel.

NorthWoods Church has a heart for being a church that plants more churches–especially since our Church Story begins as a church plant.

NorthWoods has planted and re-planted eight churches in our short history. We are always looking to grow here at NorthWoods Church, but we also want to send out people to plant churches.

Indiana

We presently support five church plants in the state of Indiana ranging from Evansville to Indianapolis to South Bend. Our support includes training, administrative support, and financial commitments. We are grateful for how the Lord uses church planting to reach those who are far from Him.

Utah

NorthWoods has been actively supporting and participating in the ministry of Redemption Church in Kaysville, Utah. This is a church plant right outside of Salt Lake City that is reaching Mormons with the Gospel. Participation has consisted of sending teams, providing a summer missionary, and using our Vacation Bible School offering to provide for their children’s ministry.

Puerto Rico

Right now, we are supporting two church plants in Puerto Rico. We make a trip each year to offer support for these church plants. We are also able to work through the North American Mission Board’s relief organization, Send Relief, in providing support and help for families affected by hurricanes.

Ecuador

Our partnership in Ecuador is where we send teams yearly for the purpose of evangelism and discipleship. Our support includes the training of local leaders and actively sharing the Gospel with local communities.

Ireland

We partner with a couple of Baptist Churches in Ireland. We support a church in Belfast and a church in Cork. Our work there focuses on equipping young ministers for ministry, encouraging church planting, and assisting in children’s ministry and evangelism.

Lithuania

NorthWoods is a partner church for a new church plant in Klaipeda, Lithuania. We offer training, counsel, and support for the leaders of this church plant. We encourage all of our members to pray for church plants regularly.

Panama, Indonesia, and Japan

We have personal relationships with missionaries who are serving with the International Mission Board (IMB) and seek to pray for their ministries regularly. A percentage of our financial giving goes to directly supporting the work of our international missionaries. Periodically, we send teams out to work with them as well.

East Asia

This partnership is with a missionary serving in East Asia. Our support of this work helps to send Indigenous believers in East Asia out as missionaries to areas of the world that Americans cannot gain access to.
