Rachel serves as the Women’s Ministry and Connections Director at NorthWoods Church. She has been part of NorthWoods since 2017 and became a full-time staff member in July 2020. Before NorthWoods, she worked as an 8th-grade English teacher and loves students.
She received a Bachelor of Science for her teaching degree from Western Kentucky University in 2014, finished the coursework for a Master of Arts in English from Murray State University in 2019, and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in Ministry to Women.
Rachel is married to Alec Bland, an elder at NorthWoods. Together, they love serving the Lord on mission trips and traveling the world.
Fun fact: Rachel is the only full-time staff member originally from Evansville, IN.
