The Student Pastor will lead the student ministry of NorthWoods Church so that students and families are transformed by the gospel of Jesus Christ and equipped to faithfully follow Jesus throughout their lives. This role provides comprehensive discipleship for students beginning in middle school and extending through high school, partnering with parents and the church body to make disciples who make disciples.
The Student Pastor shall provide leadership and direction to all student-related ministries at NorthWoods Church, either through direct involvement or by equipping, supporting, and overseeing volunteer leaders.
The Student Pastor will serve alongside the Lead Pastor and pastoral staff to advance the mission of NorthWoods Church—making disciples from Evansville to everywhere—through intentional outreach, communication, and community engagement.
The Student Pastor is expected to be an active member of NorthWoods Church and to affirm and be guided by the Baptist Faith and Message 2000 of the Southern Baptist Convention, as well as the mission, vision, and values of NorthWoods Church.
This full-time position is based on-campus at NorthWoods Church in Evansville, Indiana. A bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies or a related field is required; however, candidates may be considered based on overall qualifications and ministry experience.
