Ordinary Women Pursuing an Extraordinary God
We ladies join in on the mission of the church of Making Disciples by Personally, Relationally, and Missionally Pursuing God.
At the heart of our Women’s Ministry, we believe when women pursue God personally, they’re growing in their walk with God which pours over into their relationships with others so they become mission-minded wherever they go.
Special Events
We love getting all the ladies together for some FUN nights! And we would love for you to join in on the fun!! Special events happen all throughout the year! We do a variety of events such as: Conferences (whether here at NorthWoods or in a different city), Service Days, Goebel Farms Night, and Qdoba Night, and SO MUCH MORE!
Each event is strategically designed to help you pursue God personally, relationally, or missionally!
The Gathering Table Groups
During the school year, our ladies participate in The Gathering! Some ladies participate at a Young Adult or Couples Table, but we also have Women Only tables.
We would absolutely love to have you be a part of The Gathering!
Discipleship
In order for our ladies to make disciples by pursuing God, we would love to see each woman grow in her faith by meeting either one-on-one with a mentor or in a group of 2-5 ladies. Through discipleship, a lady can accelerate spiritual growth through Bible reading, Scripture memory, and accountability.
The Pursuit
A quarterly event with the idea that our ladies can Pursue God together! It’s one event happening in multiple host homes across Evansville--with everyone doing the same thing in each host home.
What to Expect:
- Get to know ladies in a small group with sweet and salty treats!
- Gather together for a brief devotion
- Share prayer requests and intentionally pray for them (you'll get a FREE notebook to keep and write all the prayer requests in)
- Pray for Missions happening here in Evansville and around the world
- And more COMMUNITY time!
